The Sunstone Apartments in San Antonio offer 199 units of high-quality affordable housing, including 178 units reserved for families earning up to 60% of the area median income and 21 units designated for households at 30% AMI. Designed to support residents beyond housing alone, the community will provide wrap-around services such as health and wellness screenings, after-school childcare activities, employment resources, and other support programs.
Funded through 4% TDHCA tax credits, HUD, and the City of San Antonio, the development features one- to three-bedroom walk-up style apartments across a collection of three-story buildings. Residents will have access to a wide range of amenities, including a business center, clubhouse, fitness facility, grill area, pool, and playground. Infrastructure improvements—such as a new bus station with a deceleration lane and a permanent crosswalk across the nearby main road—further enhance accessibility and safety for the community.
