Durability planning helped create the LEED Platinum certified Sierra Vista Apartments, a property designed to last well into the future. A design charrette empowered community interaction and feedback during the early design phase. Creating a healthy and efficient environment was the focus. The complex is wood framed, consisting of 13, 2 to 4-bedroom residential buildings and a community building. Environmentally-preferable products were used throughout the development including low-VOC paints and sealants, insulated water supply lines, and hard flooring throughout the project.
